Mingarang Services Group’s Alan Daly is a descendant of the Dharawal People of Coastal Sydney, Alan is an active member of the La Perouse Aboriginal community. With the establishment of Mingarang Services Group they intend to provide greater links to community through commerce. This done currently through partnership/ownership by the Gujaga Foundation. Through this partnership we will ensure that the language and cultural of Coastal Sydney do not die out, rather we will ensure that these activities are consolidated and thrive into the future. Similar partnerships will be forged in other states and locations Mingarang Services will be providing services.
Alan, for the past 3 years has been working for KPMG as a Senior Accountant in the Enterprise Audit division. Before starting with KPMG Alan had worked for 8 years in the electrical industry for commercial operators. Further, Alan participates in many community projects and sits on the Board of Director’s for several community organisations including: Gujaga Foundation and La Perouse Sporting Aboriginal Corporation (to name a few).
Alan and the FSA Services Group formed Mingarang Services Group as a JV to provide Fire, Electrical and HVAC services inline with FSAG’s overall service delivery. FSAG through its own qualified and experienced personnel and strategic partnerships the FSA Services Group deliver quality services across several sectors and industries. Mingarang Services Group will offer multiple technical trade services with a strong focus on indigenous employment, training, apprenticeships and mentorship within each business line, supported by the FSA Services Group’s existing footprint. In turn, Mingarang will develop FSA Services Groups RAP and provide understanding and education to FSA’s employees of our nation’s first people.
Mingarang Services Group goal with this partnership is to establish a successful Indigenous business that within a few years can operate successfully independently of the FSAG’s support and mentorship, establishing itself as the employer and provider of choice for technical services within Australia.
